A new study by the San Francisco-based non-profit group Common Sense Media found that affluent parents download apps specifically for their young children more than parents of lesser financial means do. Naming a child is usually the first big decision a new parent makes, and one that almost one and ten would like to do be able to do again.

Citing evidence such as birthday cards that contained no money and a lack of care packages when they were away at college, Steven Miner, 23, and Kathryn Miner, 20, tried to sue the woman who brought them into the world for being “negligent” and causing them “emotional distress.”

Reports continue to warn us about the obesity epidemic in America and many of those reports are about our unhealthy kids. While it might seem impossible to turn this thing around, there are just a few simple things that need to be changed in order for the health of families all across the country to improve.
