You'll never see me doing this, base jumping that is. Daredevil Matthew Gough, a 25-year-old base jumper in Italy fell a thousand feet and actually survived after his parachute got twisted. This guy is tough because he hit the ground at 40 miles an hour !

His previous 180 leaps have gone perfectly, but this time his parachute opened backwards and became twisted. Check out the helmet cam footage he posted online.

But he somehow only suffered minor injuries, and was in and out of the hospital within a few hours. Amazing !
