The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs will be holding their second annual 'Purple in the Park' night to help support the March of Dimes of the Mohawk Valley.

Coming up on Saturday, June 9th, the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs are asking you to come out to their home game against the Watertown Rapids, and sport your purple. That's right, they're asking you to dress in purple to raise awareness and support to our local March of Dimes.

The DiamondDawgs will be wearing special purple March of Dimes jerseys that were designed specifically for this night. There will also be games in-between some of the innings for all the kids in attendance to enjoy. These games will take place on the field, and there will be a limited number of purple capes available for the children as well. These capes are free of charge.

On top of all the activities and of course a night of baseball in Little Falls, there will also be an informational table set up for attendees to learn more about the March of Dimes and what the organization does to help babies and moms. Make sure you stop by and say "hi" to Laura Powers, the 2018 March for Babies Mohawk Valley Chairwoman, and talk to her about her firsthand experience with the March of Dimes. She'll tell you about her twin sons who were born premature, and where they are now.
