Among the area's big arts and crafts festivals, the New York Mills show has to be the oldest. And they're celebrating their 40th year this December.

The annual NYM PTSO Holiday Craft Fair is Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3, 2017. It was founded 40 years ago by resident and PTSO member Ms. Charlotte. She helped develop this event into such a successful fundraiser for the school, as well as a craft fair that vendors and shoppers both look forward to every year. Charlotte was also an avid crafter in the show, but retired at the end of last year. Kristin Hubley of the New York Mills PTSO said they have invited her and hope she will stop by for a visit this year.

This craft fair is well known for having an incredible variety of gourmet foods, jewelry, handcrafted soaps and lotions, pottery, paintings, photography and so much more. There are over 100 vendors confirmed so far, and lots of new ones on the list. This is one show you don't want to miss for great holiday decorations and gift ideas.

It takes place at the New York Mills Junior-Senior High School. There are parking options too. According to their Facebook event page:

There is free parking available right next to the school. There is additional free parking in the Blue Cross Blue Shield parking lot in the Utica Business Park where a shuttle bus is provided for people that park there.(NYM PTSO)
