It's hard to believe the Holiday Craft Show season is just right around the corner. Here are the early details about one of these much anticipated events.

The Sauquoit Valley Fine Arts & Craft Show is in it's 39th year of bringing top notch exhibitors to the region. There are over 100 vendors and displays of fine quality arts and crafts - you'll be sure to find unique holiday decorations, as well as paintings, local and regional photography and fantastic ideas for home decor. One interesting feature of this show - you can drop off your kids while you shop. That's right, an adult supervised kid's arts and crafts room will keep them busy while you stroll the displays. There is an extra fee for this - just $3 per hour.

The Sauquoit Valley show also offers a plethora of food choices - full lunches at the Crystal Cafe, decadent desserts, gourmet coffee, homemade pies and more.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the school, but it provides so much more. Here are some details from their website -

All funds raised during this Sauquoit Valley PTO event support beneficial arts and educational programs for all students, in addition to funding the field trips the students take.   • Saturday, November 18 - 10am to 5pm
  • Sunday, November 19 - 10am to 4pm
  • Free parking and shuttle bus services - follow the signs
  • Admission - $3, children under 12 - free.
