A new poll has found the most popular New Year's resolution for 2018 and it's one we can all accomplish. Actually, 2018 may be a great year if we add this one to our resolutions.

Can you believe we're in the final days of 2017?! Where does the time go?? Well, as we wrap up the year, this is the time to start thinking about those New Year's resolutions. Sure, a lot of us want to lose weight, eat better, maybe go to the gym more, some of us want to spend more time with family and friends, but the most popular New Year's resolution this year isn't one of those. And that's our focus for this week's "98 Seconds with Naomi Lynn" video.

According to USA Today, the new poll says this year's most popular resolution is...

Be a better person.

I don't know about you, but that makes me SO excited for 2018. Can you imagine how much better things can get in our country and across the world, if we all tried to be a little bit better?

Think of all the terrible news stories we hear on a daily basis of people being gunned down, road rage that takes a horrific turn, and all that... Sure, everyone trying to be a better person won't get rid of these things, but maybe they would be less frequent. Maybe people will be happier and more likely to help those in need. Maybe a little kindness from everyone will spread like wildfire and make people more compassionate and caring just in general.

That's what I'm hoping with this new information. I hope that MOST people add this to their New Year's resolutions, and they work really, really hard to stick to it. I'm going to be optimistic here, and hope that because this is the most popular resolution, that it will actually happen.

This makes me feel good about 2018, now I'm excited for the New Year, and hope you are too. Here's to 2018, and from all of us at Lite 98.7, we hope you have a wonderful New Year.
