Forget flying.  That's what every pigeon does to get from there to here.  There's a pigeon nicknamed Tony that travels every day from New Jersey to Manhattan via the ferry.

Tony the pigeon has been taking the ferry from Weehawken, New Jersey to Manhattan for the last three years.  Not a couple of times a week.  No, Tony rides the ferry every day of the week.  He gets on board the ferry during morning rush hour, stays on board for a couple of hours and then repeats the whole process during evening rush hour.  One of the ferry deckhands told reporters that Tony walks on and off the ferry with passengers and they love him.  Tony's loving the free ride!
