Start Spring Off the Right Way at Abbott Farms

This weekend, Abbott Farms is holding a special 'Spring Kickoff' Event with delicious food, adult beverages, and live music.

It's finally starting to feel like spring in Central New York! Took long enough, we know. But now it's actually starting to get warmer and nicer (besides the April showers, but hey, that's a part of spring). Celebrate spring by taking a drive to Abbott Farms, just northwest of Syracuse. They're holding a special event this Saturday (April 28th) from 3pm to 7pm, to help us all get into that spring mood.

According to the Abbott Farms' Event Post on Facebook, they have partnered with the Food Bank of CNY for this event, which means besides having fun and enjoying all they have to offer, you'll be helping out a great cause, too. So what can you expect at this spring kickoff? Well, according to their Event Post,

We will be hosting a beef tasting event, with homemade dishes featuring our own grass fed beef. Sampler tickets are $10 for a pack of 5 food tickets, or you can go all you can eat for $17. we will also include a discounted drink ticket at our Four Grand hard, and sweet cider bar. Our friends from Stone Age Winery will be sampling and selling their small batch wines. There will be live music, animals to visit in the barnyard, fresh baked goods, and ice cream in the farm store, and much more!

You could sample some mini taco bowls, or maybe buy the all-you-can-eat ticket and fill up on Abbott's special chili. Of course, there will be other delicious foods available, as well. And again, don't forget to grab an adult beverage (or two), and wrap up the day with some ice cream!
