Alvin and The Chipmunks – Nostalgia Cartoon

The Chipmunks were indeed one of the highlights of the 80s when it comes to nostalgic cartoons. Alvin & The Chipmunks ran from 1983-1990. This show spawned a Christmas song, spin-off cartoons and Hollywood movies. In 1990 many television networks were showing drug prevention television and the Chipmunks got into the act.

The Chipmunks song that you hear on Lite 98.7 over the holidays first officially appeared on the scene in late fall 1958. The song, originally listed on the record label as "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)", featured the singing skills of all of the Chipmunks. You can count on hearing it this Fall.
