The world's first 'Virtual Shopping Store' opened in Korea and it could be just a fad or a glimpse into the future of shopping. All the shelves are in fact LCD screens with codes for screening using your smartphone. Users choose their desired items by touching the LCD screen and when they are ready to checkout, all of their purchases will packed in bags or prepared for a later pick-up or delivery.

Personally I enjoy smelling my fabric softener before I buy it. What if my 5 year old decides to go on a screen touching frenzy? Can the store be hacked?

Only half of us Americans have smartphones with cameras so I'm not sure this will take off here any time soon. Perhaps in largely populated areas where commuters are pressed for time. We'll see.
