Be a Vandal at This Central New York Brewery

It's okay, you won't get in trouble. This brewery in the Valley will actually let you take part in a little vandalism inside their establishment.

Now before you get the wrong idea, no, they don't want you breaking their tables and chairs or breaking windows. There's a difference between a little vandalism and being a complete jerk. We're talking about a brewery that lets you take part in a little "graffiti."

If you're in the mood to be a little creative, especially after you've had a delicious local craft beer (or two... or a few), then you need to be having those beverages at Crazy Williez Brewery in Ilion. After you've had a few adult beverages, eventually you'll need to go to the bathroom. And that's where you're allowed to take part in being a vandal:

That's right, not only can you sign the wall and/or write something fun, they actually want you to! Just look at all these signatures and writings:

And you can add your name and/or something you want to say, the next time you're at the brewery. I even made my contribution:

While you're at Crazy Williez Brewery, being a little vandal, you can also sample one of their own craft beer creations. They have a Strawberry Rhubarb Saison that's just delicious. You can also try other local craft beers like "Go Fluff Yourself," a peanut butter and marshmallow fluff beer from Fulton Chain Brewery or "Cucumber Blessing Cream Ale" (one of my favorites), from Millhouse Brewery in Poughkeepsie. Crazy Williez now has a few wines from Thousand Islands Winery AND the brewery is working on their own pilsner.

So you can enjoy great local craft beers and wines, create a little bit of graffiti during your visit, possibly listen to some local live music (they have that most nights, too), and have a fantastic time?! Maybe it's time you checked out Crazy Williez Brewery for yourself. It's open Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm to 10pm, Saturdays from noon to 10pm, and Sundays from noon to 6pm.
