That old saying “I’m catching up on my beauty sleep” was my excuse for falling asleep in high school, but is there any truth to that? Researchers in Sweden have done a study on Beauty sleep and here are the results.

Researchers in Sweden, say if you get a full eight hours of sleep, you look better than if you've been awake on a 30-hour bender.  Really? Well duh!

The researchers tested the concept of "beauty sleep."  By taking photographs of volunteers waking up after a nice eight hours of sleep then took photos after the volunteers stayed up for 31 straight hours. When other people rated the photos, they almost always said the sleep-deprived photo looked less healthy and less attractive. 

So if you fall asleep at the office just say you’re catching up on your beauty sleep!
