British Woman Stole From Boss To Pay For Her Lavish Wedding

Getting married can get really expensive.  What do you do if you're short on cash but still want a fancy wedding?  A British woman thought it would be a good idea to steal from her boss to pay for her lavish wedding.

29 year old Kristy Lane stole from her boss over a two year period to fund her fancy wedding.  Guess how much she stole?  $237,000!   Talk about lavish.   Her boss had even given  her a raise  and a loan to help her pay for the wedding because she'd told him she was struggling financially.  Not only did she steal from her boss, Peter Sutton, she even invited him to the wedding, which is when he noticed something was seriously wrong.  Sutton said it was the most lavish wedding he'd ever seen and all along she'd been telling him how finacially strapped she was.  Lane was arrested for 122 counts of fraud.    He sounds like a decent boss too.  What was she thinking?
