As we approach the 12th anniversary of 9/11, Central New York remembers that tragic day with several 9/11 events happening tomorrow.

 Utica's 9/11 Ceremony:

The prayer breakfast is from 7:30-9:00 am tomorrow at Hart's Hill Inn in Whitesboro.  Living and deceased members of our military, law enforcement, firefighters and emergency responders from the Mohawk Valley area will be honored.  Also, there will be a special ceremony to commemorate the 9/11 attacks of 2001.

New York Mills 9/11 Memorial Ceremony:

The 12th annual 9/11 Ceremony in New York Mills starts at the Fire House at 5:40pm. The silent march  goes to the 9/11 Memorial at 320 Main Street and all those attending are encouraged to carry an American flag.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony At Herkimer County Community College:

The ceremony will take place at 10am at the flag poles outside the library. One of the guest speakers will be sophmore Adam Lisser, an Iraq war vet who's currently serving with the National Guard.

West Winfield 9/11 Memorial Observance:

7pm at the Mount Markham High School auditorium.

Sherrill's 9/11 Observance:

The 9/11 Memorial Ceremony begins at 7pm at Reilly-Mumford Park.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in Newport:

The 7pm ceremony is hosted by the Newport Volunteer Fire Department and the West Canada Valley American Legion Post 1524.    It takes place at the fire station at 7370 Main Street.

Sylvan Beach 9/11 Tribute:
The annual memorial tribute by the Sylvan Beach Fire Department happens at 7pm on the village green.


The 9/11 ceremony takes place at Waterbury Memorial Church at 7pm.


The Rome Police and Fire Memorial Park Ceremony takes place in the park on Black River Blvd.  The ceremony gets underway at 6:30.
