Central New York photographers are spreading the love and bringing joy by doing what they do best: taking pictures.

The 'Front Steps Project' was started by a photographer in Boston, and it's spread to the Mohawk Valley. Sara Lawrence and Corri Lenaghan have both stepped up to take photographs as part of this unique project.

Here's how it works: you gather your family on your front steps or your front porch, and the photographer with take your picture. In Sara's case, the photoshoot is free, in Corri's case, she's asking you to consider a donation to the 'Rome Connected Community Schools'.

To reach Sara Lawrence, find her on Facebook, or call (315) 868-9435. You can also schedule online: HERE Sara is starting in the Valley, and working her way from there. She's calling hers the 'Front Porch Project'.

Corri Lenaghan can be reached via message on Facebook. She is covering the Utica-Rome area to start.
