The counties of the Mohawk Valley are under a winter weather advisory until 7PM on Wednesday.  The National Weather Service is expecting anywhere from 3-6 inches of snow in parts of Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties.

The Southern Tier and Western New York are under similar advisories.

Things get a little dicier into the Catskills and south of the Capitol District where a Winter Storm Warning could dump up to a foot of snow may fall.  This is from Cobleskill over to Albany south to the Hudson Valley.
