Sounds like the start of a horror movie, especially if you're scared of clowns. There's a donut shop that has hired a clown to deliver their goodies.

What would you do if a scary-looking clown showed up at your office or at your home to deliver you donuts? What if you didn't order the donuts, but they were from a friend? Would you still accept them or would that just creep you out?

According to Seventeen.com, the donut chain "Hurts Donuts," are the ones who started doing this - Having a clown deliver donuts to scare people. Of course, they started this in 2017 to go along with the new "It" movie, when it came out. But the fear and uneasiness around clowns is still alive and well across the country, and it could be brought back at any time.

Luckily for us, the chain would only deliver these scary treats within a small area of their locations, and you've probably already realized there aren't any "Hurts Donuts" near us. Most of their locations are in the midwest and south.

Now I don't know about you, but I've never been scared or freaked out about clowns. I've also never seen or read Stephen King's "It," so that may have something to do with it. Anyway, the idea of a clown delivering donuts doesn't really bother me, especially because food is involved. If it was just a regular package, say something I bought on Amazon, and a clown showed up to drop it off, I'd probably think that was REALLY odd, and it may make me a little uneasy, but I don't think I would take off running.

What about you?? We want to know what you think about a clown showing up to deliver you donuts - Would you accept the donuts? If a donut shop in Central New York started doing this (especially around Halloween), would you hire a clown to deliver donuts to a friend or to your family? Is this just a stupid publicity stunt trying to survive on the fear of clowns? Let us know in the poll below:
