Before their free show at MVCC, the alternative/pop band 'The Middle Ground' stopped by the Lite 98.7 studio to give us a quick preview of what they have in store for the Utica area.

Meet 'The Middle Ground' - an alternative pop band out of Nashville. The group has been turning heads in the Midwest and the South, and are now are looking to take on the rest of the country. The Middle Ground is on tour now, with two more stops in Central New York - They'll be at the Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica TODAY (Thursday, November 19) at 12noon, and they'll be at Morrisville State College tomorrow at 7pm. After that, the band heads back for a show in Nashville.

Before The Middle Ground performs at MVCC today, they decided to stop by the Lite 98.7 studio for an exclusive interview, and to perform some of their music.

Matt and Naomi talked to the group about how their life has changed since they started booking gigs all across the country. The band told us about being on the road, what it's like performing at different venues in different states, and talked about the things they've gotten to experience in New York. The Middle Ground even performed in our lobby at the radio station! - Check out all the videos below
