French Road or Rte. 922W between Burrstone Road and Chenango Road will have milling and paving done this week beginning tomorrow. The road will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This will slow you down a bit.

Also, near New Hartford on Rte. 5 at the Applewood/Cherrywood intersection the newly-installed traffic signal is now activated to full three-color operation. Please drive with caution thru this area.

River Road or Rte 922E between Route 69 and Route 49 will also have milling and paving operations. Look out for one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.

And another trouble spot to tell you about, is in Deerfield. The Miller Road Bridge over Routes 8 and 12 will remain closed until Labor Day due to bridge deck replacement. A signed detour directing traffic to Trenton Road and Route 8 will be in place.

In Trenton, Rte. 12 between the Riverside Mall and Mappa Ave will have road work done. On Mapledale you'll will encounter a lane closure either northbound or southbound due to crack sealing.

Heading to The Orchards this week? Well, Rte. 840 eastbound at the two-lane to four-lane transition will be a slow go as miscellaneous construction activities will cause intermittent lane and/or shoulder closures so expect minor delays.

In the town of Trenton, Rte. 365 between Stittville and Barneveld you will encounter one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers due to crack sealing operations. This will slow you down just a bit.

We didn't forget about you Little Falls. Rte. 5 will also have milling and paving work between Overlook Road and East Main Street or Rte. 169. On the two-lane section of roadway you'll encounter one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers. On the four-lane section motorists will encounter a lane closure eastbound and/or westbound. Delays will be encountered.

In the towns of Marcy & Whitestown, Mohawk/Clinton Street or Rte. 922A between Route 69 and River Road will also be experienceing milling and paving operations, so one-way alternating traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

And finally in Schuyler, you'll see Route 5 shoulder work and ditching operations being done between West German Street and Schuyler. You may encounter one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers and minor delays.

I'm sure we've missed a few spots, well anyway, drive safely!
