It's spooky-fun for the whole family. Enjoy an afternoon filled with ghosts, witches, goblins, and more, plus a fun train ride, pumpkin patch, hayride, and goodies for the kids.

Get your costumes ready and head to Holland Patent Depot on Saturday, October 28th, for this fun event. And yes, we said "get your costumes ready," which means we expect to see you in them. The "Family Halloween Train," will take you on a nice trip from Holland Patent to the Remsen Depot. But it's not a regular trip on the rails. According to Oneida County Tourism,

Keep a look out for the ghosts, goblins, witches, and more that haunt our rails at this time of year.

This event isn't just a train ride and done, either. Of course not, there's more to experience with only a few days before Halloween. At the depot, there will be a pumpkin patch, hayrides, and other activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Again, the "Family Halloween Train," is running on October 28th, but there are a few different times to choose from so you can fit it into your weekend schedule. The train departs from Holland Patent Depot at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm.

Tickets are on sale now: $12 for adults and seniors, $10 for children 2-12, and children under 2 get to ride for free. You can get more details and your tickets from: AdirondackRR.com

If you're looking for something different for your Halloween celebrations, something the whole family will love, the "Family Halloween Train" is for you. Anyone can go to a haunted house, a corn maze, or any of those other fall traditional activities (which are great, we're not knocking them), but you could have bragging rights of experiencing a spooky-fun Halloween train ride. It's a celebration your family won't soon forget.
