Central New York Business Plans to Expand and Bring in MORE Jobs

A Syracuse business is looking to expand again, and this time it could create 149 new jobs in our area.

If you, or someone you know is looking for a job (or will be looking for a job shortly) and wouldn't mind the drive to the outer Syracuse area, you're in luck! According to Syracuse.com G&C Foods is planning to expand their warehouse and distribution center, which could open up nearly 150 jobs.

Now, before you quit your current job, or rush over to G&C Foods in Syracuse, it has not been announced when the expansion will happen/be finished or when they will begin hiring.

Not only will it be creating all these great jobs, but according to Syracuse.com, the company will be using mostly local labor to build and create these planned expansions. Syracuse.com says,

The exception granted by the agency will allow G&C to hire a Buffalo company to provide and install specialized refrigeration equipment not available from any local contractors.

The rest of it though, all local.
