Here's a shocking statistic. According to the Firemen's Association of the State of New York, there are more fires reported on July 4th than any other day of the year. Each year, thousands are injured using fireworks illegally. Be safe this holiday and leave the fireworks to the professionals. Don't forget,  it's illegal  in New York to own or use fireworks unless you're a licensed professional. Have a safe and fun 4th of July and leave the fireworks for the experts who know what they're doing. Don't become another statistic.

***When watching a professional fireworks display, obey the safety barriers set up. They're there for a reason.
