Here Is A Central New York Road Work Report Update

Are you hitting the road this weekend? We thought we'd help you get there quicker by providing you with the details on some trouble spots. More road work is expected that we'd like to tell you about so don't get stuck burning up fuel in a traffic jam.

In Oneida County, look out for this trouble spot on Route 5 between Route 46 and Seneca Street. The sidewalk drainage and signal work continues. Work will take place off the roadway. Minor delays may be encountered due to an occasional lane closure. In North Utica, I-790 between Leland Ave and River Road will be a slow go. Motorists will encounter a lane and shoulder closure westbound on Monday followed by a lane and shoulder closure eastbound on Tuesday, due to maintenance work. Several trucks and workers will be working in the area. Please drive with caution. Also the I-790 eastbound lane between Edic Road and Leland Ave will be troublesome. Motorists will encounter a lane closure due to crack sealing operations.

In Russia, the route 365 guiderail replacement work between Wheelertown Road and Northwood Road continues. Motorists will encounter a lane closure controlled by flaggers so expect minor delays.
