How You and Your Dog Can Help a 7-Year-Old Fight Cancer

We're busy trying to teach our Chocolate Labs (Nikki and Bella pictured) how to write, so they can help out a little girl in Wisconsin.

Emma Mertens is seven and was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. She's currently undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. To help put a smile on her face, family and friends sent Emma letters from their dogs. Now, Emma's family is asking anyone and everyone to do the same thing. So, that's where everyone in Central New York comes in.

Emma's family were originally organizing an email campaign on Emma's behalf, but they got so many messages, they had to start a PO Box too! So far, Emma has received over 50,000 letters from dogs all over the world.
