Incredible Photos of Dozens of Semis Crashed on Interstate 94 in Indiana

A section of I-94 in northern Indiana's LaPorte County has turned into a parking lot near Michigan City after a massive pile-up caused by whiteout conditions.

WSBT-TV in South Bend shared the following incredible photo on their Facebook feed.

There was another crash that occurred on a paralell highway, the Indiana Toll Road, as WSBT shared on their Twitter feed.

An overhead photo of the accident scene from WMAQ/Chicago shows the extent of the semi trucks involved in the I-94 accident.

This portion of Interstate 94 in Northern Indiana is the main artery between Chicago and Detroit and one of the most heavily trafficked semi routes in the nation.
