If you're looking for something different, something unique to see in Central New York, a trip to Onondaga County is what you need to see this very interesting attraction.

Sure there are always the big attractions throughout New York you can go and see: head to Niagara Falls, go down to the City and see Times Square, even in Onondaga County you can go to Destiny USA and do some shopping. But for those looking for the more unique, lesser-known interesting attractions, this is for you.

Make a trip to Liverpool to see the Willow Museum. This little place is definitely a "unique" stop, that will get you away from the same old, same old. The Willow Museum is filled with amazing, creatively-designed baskets. According to New York Upstate,

...the long reeds found around Onondaga Lake were perfect for making large baskets. In fact, the basket-making industry was the leading business for Liverpool for many years. The Willow Museum holds workshops and displays many priceless baskets donated by Liverpool residents...

So if you want to see something out of the ordinary, or have a love of baskets, the Willow Museum is a must-see attraction. It's located at 314 Second Street.

New York Upstate also lists the "Quirky Roadside Attractions" in Herkimer, Oneida, and Madison Counties. Actually, they found an interesting attraction in all of New York's 62 counties.
