When it comes to fit and active colleges, New York misses the mark. In a recent poll of the fittest colleges here in America, New York didn't even have a school in the top ten.

The Active Times took a look at various factors such as athletic activities offered by the school, facilities provided and whether or not those options are actually employed by the student body. Plus according to BroBible, they examined quality of life as well as the happiness of students. Here was the top five colleges:

#5 University of Dayton

#4 Washington University in St. Louis

#3 Ohio State University

#2 Claremont McKenna College

#1 Virginia Tech"

New York didn't make the top ten, or the top twenty. The only New York school on the list was Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. They ranked this college at number 50.

Roughly 2,400 students have access to excellent athletic facilities like a six-lane pool with a separate diving well, a human performance laboratory, nine tennis courts and an Olympic-size ice sheet. Pair those facilities with some of the best food options around, 19 varsity sports teams and roughly 20 club and intramural sports teams and you have a small school that’s one of the fittest in the nation."

At least New York made it on the list right?
