The Utica Zoo is hiring. If you've always wanted to work in a place and be surrounded by animals (and we don't mean your co-workers), here's your chance. The Zoo is looking for a Director of Visitor and Community Engagement. That could be you.

According to the position's description, the job entails a number of responsibilities:

The Director is responsible for leading the zoo’s visitor experience culture, overseeing revenue programs, including membership, admission, and gift shop, creating a culture of visitor experience and servicing the needs of visitors while focusing on what is in the best interest of the organization and its goals, mission, and values. The Director of Visitor and Community Engagement contributes to the Zoo’s mission by playing a critical role in developing our core front line operations and executing strategies that increase visitor revenue for the support of UZ’s mission.

That sounds like a pretty cool job. So what kind of experience and qualifications do you need for this job?
