I'm not crying, you're crying!

When Joshua and Emily Newville got married in the upstate town of Ripley, NY in July, Emily knew that she wasn't just marrying the love of her life, she was also vowing to be a step-mom to Joshua's 4-year-old son, Gage. So Emily prepared a special set of vows just for Gage, and the little boy's reaction to her reading them during the wedding ceremony has been warming hearts across the country. The little guy broke down in tears and gave a big hug to his new stepmom.

Here's what Emily said to Gage:

I want you to be safe and to try your hardest and to be a good person. I know that you and I will butt heads. But I hope with all my heart that as you become a grown man, you will understand my methods and realize I have only done what is best for you and that I love you. The last thing that I hope you learn is that you are a very special boy. You are so extremely smart, handsome, and kind to others. You have helped shape me into the woman I am today. And I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.

Joshua and Emily are both active-duty Marines, stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County, NJ. They had been dating for two years before they decided to tie the knot, sealing Emily's relationship with Joshua and Gage. Emily told 1010 WINS that her relationship with Gage has been "nothing short of perfection".

Emily and Joshua will not be going on a honeymoon because they are both active-duty Marines. Sergeant Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Newville will be returning to their base.

All together now: awwwww.
