At the Save Our Schools Million Teacher March in Washington DC on July 30th, actor Matt Damon was grilled on his feelings about public school educators. Damon, who attended public school in Boston as a youth and whose own mother is a public school teacher, made some impassioned remarks in defense of teachers.

In a moment straight outta ‘Good Will Hunting,’ a couple prickly members of the press challenge Damon on his views, forcing the Oscar-winner to snap at an interrupting cameraman who shouts out a dubious-sounding statistic that “ten percent of teachers are bad.” Retorts Damon, “Well, maybe you’re a s***** cameraman, I don’t know.” How do you like them apples?
