If you were hoping to catch Meghan Trainor at the Great New York State Fair this year, you're out of luck. On Tuesday, the singer had to cancel the rest of her scheduled tour dates.

The 'All About That Bass' singer broke the news on Instagram earlier today (Tuesday). She had been dealing with some vocal cord issues - this time she has a vocal cord hemorrhage and will now need surgery before she can perform again. Meghan Trainor posted her apology to Instagram saying,

She was scheduled to perform a free concert during the New York State Fair on Thursday September 3, 2015. According to the press release from the acting state fair director Troy Waffner,

“We join Meghan Trainor fans and followers in wishing her a speedy recovery following news that she has canceled all of the remaining shows of her 2015 tour, including at the New York State Fair.  It will be a challenge to find a show of equal stature, but with 23 days until the show date we are at work on alternatives...

Meghan Trainor had more than 10 performances left on her tour, including stops in Detroit, Chicago, Atlantic City, and of course Syracuse for the state fair.
