The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook bulletin for several counties next week as thunderstorms head into the area, warning of damaging winds and hail.

The National Weather Service says several Upstate and Central New York counties can potentially expect severe thunderstorms with damaging winds on Wednesday through Wednesday evening (June 13) this week.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook was issued at 3:44am on Tuesday for the following counties:
Northern Oneida-Yates-Seneca-Southern Cayuga-Onondaga-Steuben-
Schuyler-Chemung-Tompkins-Madison-Southern Oneida-Cortland-Chenango-
Otsego-Tioga-Broome-Delaware-Sullivan-Bradford-Susquehanna-
Northern Wayne-Wyoming-Lackawanna-Luzerne-Pike-Southern Wayne-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.

DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to cross the area
Wednesday afternoon into the early evening. Some of the storms could
contain strong gusty winds and/or hail.
