Season’s First Lake Effect Snow Hits Old Forge October 24, 2013
The season's first snowfall has hit portions of Central New York. Lewis and northern Herkimer counties were under Lake effect snow watches and warnings, however those advisories have now expired.
According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, here are some of today's snowfall totals:
3.8 inches on Starr Hill in Steuben
2.5 inches in Point Rock
1.5 inches in Taberg
