On This Groundhog Day 2014, Punxsutawney Phil Saw His Shadow

Today is Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil was up bright and early to make his annual winter prediction.  Phil saw his shadow.  Remember what that means?When Phil sees his shadow, it means six more weeks of winter.   Yup, at 7:25 he saw his shadow.  So much for an early spring, if you believe Phil's prediction.

More times than not, Phil has seen his shadow, according to the Washington Post.  Since his first prediction at Gobbler's Knob in 1887, Phil has seen his shadow 100 times and not seen it only 17 times.
