Rome’s Urgent Care May Be Returning
The only urgent care facility in the city of Rome has been closed for several months. The Mohawk Glen Center for Community Health had posted a sign last summer that it was closed for vacation. However, after several months the facility has still not reopened.
But now comes word that the urgent care might be returning. Dr. Joseph Femia, who is president of the board of directors has told the Rome Sentinel that he expects Mohawk Glen to be open within 60 days. Femia said that his board has been working with a potential partner who is interested in running the center. He added that there is a huge need for an urgent care in the city of Rome.
