The sister of Justin Smithson of the legendary CNY band 'Showtime', lost everything when their Little Falls home exploded. Now the singer, along with an Ilion salon, are helping the family and their young children.

On Wednesday, February 14, the home owned by Richelle and Shawn Devereese on West Main Street in Little Falls exploded. The explosion and subsequent fire injured several people, but no fatalities were reported. At this moment, there's no official cause for the blast, but is believed to have been caused by a natural gas leak.

Richelle is the sister of Justin Smithson, and while her family was fortunate to avoid injury in the incident, she and her family lost everything in the fire. Richelle and her husband Shawn have two young boys. Justin says, "we've been finding their things all over, some things almost a mile away."
