Something New In Times Square This Year

New Year's Eve in New York's Times Square give or take a few is about 1 million huddled partygoers braving the cold, Dick Clark counting down the final seconds of the outgoing year on TV and a pop act or two performing on an outdoor stage. What could be anymore different this year?

Adding something new to our annual recipe of New Years will be a wedding in the middle of the celebration. Marine Corps Reservists Bethany Phillips and Geoffrey Dubie will tie the knot outdoors, in the middle of the madness. The event has sponsorships ranging from a bridal and tux shop, the Hard Rock Cafe, Waterford Crystal, and a hotel to handle catering, the cake and even the honeymoon!
