SUNY Upstate Medical University Students Dance To ‘Upstate Funk'[Video]

"Upstate Funk" may be just what the doctor ordered. Students at SUNY Upstate Medical University commemorated Match Day by dancing their way into residency!

Each March, 155 medical schools across the nation announce the results of the National Resident Matching Program.  On Match Day students learn where they will complete their residency, or internship.

Students at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse decided to turn their Match Day ceremony into a fun affair! Ever since the release of "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, countless covers and parodies have been produced. Last week I posted the video of Los Angeles choreographer Carson Dean dancing to the hit song while working the treadmill. Prior to that, a theater arts teacher in Texas put together an impressive cover as well. Here's Carson's video!

SUNY Upstate Medical University's rendition of the song had me clapping! These guys know how to dance, and please pardon the medical pun here, they're no SCRUBS!
