Another day, another slew of rumors about who will get the plum lead roles in the upcoming film adaption of '50 Shades of Grey.' This time? It's Dakota Johnson, whom you may remember from a notable scene with Justin Timberlake in 'The Social Network.'

We now know the release date for the upcoming 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie.

Though there are still many decisions yet to be made, Universal and Focus features are adapting '50 Shades of Grey' for the big screen, and the latest news is that 'Anna Karenina' director Joe Wright is currently Universal's top choice for the job.

Turns out Gus Van Sant really wants to direct '50 Shades of Grey' -- so bad, in fact, that he recruited Alex Pettyfer ('Magic Mike') to shoot a sex scene with a number of actress to present to the studio and author E.L. James. Did it work?
