It's a challenge that consists of 9 dog friendly hikes in the Adirondacks not only so you can spend some special time together, but so you can explore different areas of the Adirondacks that are beautiful, but less explored.

Tucked away into the woods off of Buttermilk Road is a trail to the serene sight that is Shelving Rock Falls.

Located near New Russia, about two and a half hours away, Split Rock Falls is part of the Bouquet River that flows from the Adirondacks into Lake Champlain.

Cool waterfalls, gorges, lighted caves and grottos, with raging water or tranquil dark pools, plus a guided spelunking cave crawl.
