Several bars and restaurants across the country are uniting together to remember and honor those 13 military members who lost their lives defending freedom in Afghanistan.

Susan Brennan and her husband Keith suffered a major loss in the Winter of 2008. Their daughter, Audrey 'Tilly' Brennan, lost a long and hard-fought battle to Leukemia on January 8th at the young age of only 27. Her parents are now opening a brand new business that will not only honor her memory, but allow for others to appreciate everything that made 'Tilly' so amazing.
The traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall is coming to Boonville this summer. A motorcycle escort will arrive with "The Wall" at approximately 6pm June 17th. The Wall will be on display June 18th through June 21st behind Delta Flooring on Charles Street.
Kane Buss had dreams of being a police officer. He was set to graduate college in May and enroll in the police academy. Those dreams were cut short when he was tragically killed in a car crash. To honor his memory, the Oneida City Police Department made him an honorary officer.
Kane Buss, who was tragically killed in a car accident was 'a passionate and dedicated leader, a true friend, an amazing son and brother, and an avid sneaker collector.' His memory will now live on with the Kane Buss Football Scholarship Fund.
Our community is mourning the loss of an extended family member, as we were saddened to learn that Frieda Noga - the wife of our very own Julian Noga (host of Sunday morning Polanaise with Julian Noga on WIBX 950) passed away over the weekend. She was 93.
