Another Flood Watch is in effect for Central New York as more heavy rain heads our way. With saturated ground and swollen waterways, even a short downpour could lead to flooding. Officials urge drivers to stay alert and avoid flooded roads.
The extreme heat in the area is making it possible for the area to see its worst weather yet, with multiple agencies warning of strong winds, large hail, dangerous flooding, strong storms, and possible tornadoes later this evening, July 16.
After dealing with consecutive rainy, cloudy and even snowy weekends since the beginning of fall, Central New York will finally see the sun this Saturday and Sunday.
