Two New York State Fishing Records Broken in May 2025
Two new fishing records have been set in New York this May, marking an exciting month for anglers statewide. Dylan Kampnich landed a massive 37-pound channel catfish in Black River Bay, breaking a three-year-old record by almost two pounds. Just 10 days later, Alex Pidhorodeckyj caught a record-breaking fallfish from the St. Lawrence River, surpassing a 16-year-old record by nearly half a pound.
