When it was revealed that Kim Kardashian and Kayne West had named their baby girl North West, did you wonder why?  Was it a cute geography thing or was it something more?  Now we know the meaning behind the name.

According to E! News, Hollywood's newest parents named their baby North because she represents Kim and Kayne's highest point together.

"North means highest power.  North is the most high.  There is nothing higher than North.  And, when it comes to the stars, the sun rises in the East and sets in the West.

E! News also reports that Kim and Kayne are calling the baby Nori and Kim keeps referring to her as their North Star.  Kayne reportedly is a hands on father, changing diapers and doting on Nori.  As for Kim, her fears of having a baby are long gone and she's loving being a mom.

Any guesses when we'll finally see a picture of baby Nori?  I'm betting it'll be on Kris Jenner's upcoming  talk show.  After all, she's Kim's Mom and knows all about getting plenty of publicity.
