This isn't the first time Forbes has named Woods as the highest paid athlete, according to CNN.   Woods topped the list from 2001-2012.  Just how much did Woods earn to place his first on the list?  $71.8 million!  To come up with that amount, Forbes added up how much Woods made from endorsements ($65 million) and salary/winnings of $13.1 million.

Tennis player Roger Federer is number two on Forbes list, earning a cool $71.5 million.
