Top Cloudiest US Cities/Uitca and Syracuse Make the List

Does the sunshine appear to be hiding its bright rays from Utica, and Syracuse? We were curious so we did some research.

Can you relate to this scenario? Where you're driving from it's nothing but blue sky, but once you arrive at exit 31 on the New York State Thruway it's gloomy and dark. We've experienced this situation plenty of times before, so our curiosity led us to do some Googling.

We typed in something like "is Utica, New York cloudy?" We got an answer substantiating what we assumed to be true from City-Data.com: According to their data, Syracuse, and Utica are two of the cloudiest cities in the United States.

The top 5 least sunny cities are all in Washington state, but their are a total of 10 New York regions that appear on the list. Syracuse is ranked #26, and Utica comes in at #32.
