The Salt City recently gained some national attention. Syracuse earned a spot in the "Top 100 Best Places to Live in the United States.

Syracuse receives mammoth amounts of snow each year, but the vast accumulations still don't deter people from living there. The Orangemen, Destiny USA, and a lively downtown district are just a few of the reasons people are falling in love with Syracuse.

US News and World Report recently published its Top 100 Best Places to Live in the United States, and Syracuse came in at #53. "Best Places" were determined by analyzing job market, quality of life, desirability, and value.

Many people who grow up in Syracuse stay and then raise their children here. It's a comfortable place to live, and the city continues to enjoy improvements, including a massive cleanup of Onondaga Lake and the construction of the new Lakeview Amphitheatre."

Other New York cities that made the "Best Places to Live" list: Albany #36, Buffalo #57, and Rochester #60.

If you live in the 'Cuse, why do love it?
