A Kentucky man was arrested for shooting a drone out of the sky because he felt it encroached on his personal space. According to photographyisnotacrime.com, the man was notified by his children that there was a drone flying near his home. He says:

It was down by the neighbor’s house, about 10 feet off the ground, looking under their canopy that they’ve got in their back yard. I went and got my shotgun and I said, ‘I’m not going to do anything unless it’s directly over my property. Within a minute or so, here it came. It was hovering over top of my property, and I shot it out of the sky.

He was arrested for first degree criminal mischief and first degree wanton endangerment. What are your thoughts on drones in your neighborhood? If you saw one hovering above your home would you find it offensive, or do you think it would be cool to see?

A Wedge-Tail eagle in Australia apparently felt a drone was trespassing on his property. Or maybe she was protecting her little ones who were nesting nearby. Or maybe she thought it looked like her next tasty meal. Either way, it's pretty neat to watch!
