What Bad Purchases Have You Made That You Want to Warn Others About?

What bad purchases have you made that you want to warn others about? What are you scared to buy based on what you've heard? When I bought a 50" TV I also purchased a 3 year extended warranty. Guess what? Three years and three months later, it needed a $500 repair, no help at all from the warranty company. Never again.

And I never use my foot-massage machine. Perhaps I'll put it next to my new hot-tub to rinse off my feet before entering. Oh yeah, never buy a cheap hot tub...it will break down with in a few years needing thousands in repairs.

Have you noticed the "Buy Your Timeshare Here" signs as you drive into Florida only to see, "We Buy Timeshares" signs as you're leaving? I'll never commit to one vacation spot during one time period no matter how the salesperson spins a timeshares variety. So many have donated their timeshare to charity for a tax write off. I'm sure they'd also say, 'never again"!

Oh yeah, here's my old hot tub...it's only 4 years old and has a leak. I've got a new one coming soon...who wants my old one? Hey, If you had this outlet, you'd  try sell something too...
