Whisker Wednesday: The ‘Grease’ Kittens Need A Home
Every other Wednesday, we have the chance to help some kitties in the Mohawk Valley find their "fur-ever" home with the CPV Rescue and Sanctuary.
Here's what our friend, Mare, Operations Manager at CPV has to say:
Please welcome our 3mo old Grease kittens! The 2 male tuxies are Kenicki and Zucco. The little female tiger is Rizzo. They are cuddly, playful and lots of fun! If you're interested in meeting them, please call 315-381-3605 and leave a message. We are allowing 2 people per 1/2 hour appointments. Please make sure you wear a mask also! Thank you!
How do they not have homes already? Do you see the cuteness that is up for grabs here? If I would allowed to bring another cat home, I would in a heartbeat.
Bringing home and raising a new kitten is an experience that's loaded with challenges and rewards. Whether you're considering getting a kitten or have already welcomed a fuzzy little bundle of joy into your life, you no doubt want to be the best pet parent. There's some ways that you can prepare your home to bring your new furry family member into the mix.
According to WebMD Pet, before you bring home your kitten, make sure you have a litter box, cat carrier, kitten food, food and water bowls, a collar and tags, and toys to entertain your new pet. Cat-proof your house before kitty arrives. Put away cleaners, and pick up anything she could swallow.
